
November 30, 2007 -- Springer published a 451-page volume today aimed at researchers, statisticians, and graduate students who want to apply their quantitative skills to social issues such as human rights.
The book, "Statistical Methods for Human Rights," edited by Jana Asher, David Banks, and Fritz Scheuren, contains a collection of papers on statistics and human rights. The publisher notes that no ohter book on the market today addresses this subject matter.
