Field operations

Judith Nell Petty joined NORC in 2004 to provide leadership and management to a nationwide field staff including regional and area managers and field interviewers. She manages budgets and resources for all aspects of field operations and is responsible for delivering high quality data using innovative techniques and strategies.

Of special note is her involvement in the development of virtual call centers and in implementing the collection of biomarkers and biomeasures using non medically trained interviewers.

From 1995 to 2004, Ms. Petty served as Chief of the US Census Bureau's National Processing Center, where she directed operations for this full service facility.
